The Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance adopted the following resolution at its annual Board Meeting on February 9, 2006.

The International Speedway Corporation is proposing to bring a multi-use motorsports complex to Kitsap County on available land just south of the Bremerton National Airport. If developed, we expect this endeavor will provide new economic benefits to the Pacific Northwest including activity from foreign trade in the areas of:

Travel and Tourism (car manufacturers from foreign countries are joining NASCAR)
Increased airport activity both foreign and domestic
Invaluable exposure of the Port of Bremerton facilities including its Foreign Trade Zone

For these reasons be it resolved that Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance endorses the concept of bringing a multi-use motorsports complex to Kitsap County.

A not-for-profit corporation, the Alliance is focused on providing information and educational resources to small local companies looking to enter into international trade or expanding their international trade business. The Alliance was spearheaded in 2001 by the Port of Bremerton and is made up of local and regional members representing business and government. The Alliance meets monthly and encourages attendance to those interested in being involved in international trade.
